Down to the wire
Just a few hours left before election day. After election day, we’ll publish all the data we’ve collected, to see how the MyElectionChoices.com subscribers compare with the rest of the U.S.
Just a week left
Well the race is almost over. After what has seemed like years of campaign promises and statements, we head to the final week – and technically, anything still could happen. It should be an interesting week of final gradiose staements, character attacks and political punditry.
Make sure to come back after this election, as MyElectionChoices.com will live on, featuring local and state races in 2009.
New topic
Hi. We’ve been off the blog for a loooooooooooong time, but we’ve been updating content along the way. And today we have a new topic that deals with the Wall Street Financial / Economic crisis. Hope you enjoy it.

Florida this week, then here comes Super Tuesday
Just over a week away from the Political version of March Madness. Super Tuesday features 20 primaries, with the added benefit that some of the dark horse candidates have stepped away from the race.
With less candidates in the system, you can use MyElectionChoices.com more efficiently, and tackle a wider breadth of issues. With about 20 issues in the database, you can take the same amount of time, but get a better idea on how candidates stand across the board – from Abortion to Taxes. So take another look, and see how your views may shift with a larger range of topics to work with.
Article About the Internet’s Influence on Politics
Since readers of this blog are already using MyElectionChoices.com, conclusions drawn from this nice TechCrunch article by Erick Schonfeld will not surprise you. The article summarizes a recent Pew Report that measures the effect of the Internet on elections and politics. One quote:
“Nearly a quarter of the population say they “regularly” learn something about the presidential campaigns from the Internet, up from 13 percent in 2004. the Internet is still trailing TV news and daily newspapers, but is now beating morning TV shows and radio.”

Happy Caucus Day
The big day is finally here. We’re getting a ton of traffic from Iowa voters, so MyElectionChoices.com must be helping some people whittle down their selection of candidates. Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Thanks Jon Elliott
I want to thank the folks from the Jon Elliott Show for the time we were able to spend on Air America Radio Tuesday night. Jon had some extremely kind words about the site, and will be linking to us as well.
We hope to have an mp3 of the show up later this week.
